My last stop on my last afternoon in Silicon Valley was to a little company in a small building just off of 101. I walked in unannounced and explained to
the receptionist what I wanted to talk to someone about. She - for the first
time on my trip - said she would be happy to get someone to talk to me.
I was introduced to one of their workers (Marty Ratner) who took me on a two hour tour of
the tiny building and showed me everything they were doing. He was very
excited to hear about SMP and its potential applications. He also showed
me the office of their main software guy - Bill Joy. The company?
